The feast of the Madonna del Carmine begins with the celebration of Mass followed by a procession through the streets of the village which are illuminated by hundreds of candles placed in the street and in windows.  This is then followed by a traditional meal under the stars on the terrace, meaning people can enjoy the breathtaking views while eating.
